Publications

The EAAE publishes digital or printed volumes documenting its various activities. This can be done as a single-publisher edition (EAAE only) or in partnership with other institutions. Publications include newsletters, EAAE annual conference proceedings, self-published editions of activities or events organized by the EAAE, proceedings of jointly organized conferences, online databases, and others. The  EAAE may endorse publications related to events in which it has contributed significantly, even if it did not have direct editorial or organizational involvement. If you would like to partner with the EAAE in publishing, please contact secretariat@eaae.be

The EAAE regularly produces several publication types:

EAAE Publishings

With the aim of facilitating publishing efforts of various activities done within the EAAE, we have established EAAE Publishings, an open access virtual space delivering some of the recent research outputs completed within EAAE-organized events, as well as documenting events and publications produced in collaborations.

EAAE Newsletters

The EAAE Newsletter is published monthly to inform our members about EAAE’s regular activities, forthcoming and past events, and much more. It is produced by the secretariat and president, with contributions from councilmembers.

Transactions

Transactions are published periodically as part of a series with an ISBN number. They offer a selection of papers and discussions from conferences, workshops and summer schools. Each event may result in such a thematic booklet produced by the hosting institution in a standard format.

EAAE online guide

The EAAE Online Guide provides a comprehensive listing of European architecture schools as part of a permanently updated database of EAAE member schools. Schools are invited to edit and present all relevant information.

Architectural Periodicals Database

This database collects architectural periodicals and thus gives visibility to the breadth and diversity of journals and magazines. It also aims at serving as a useful consultation tool for scholars and practitioners, and for all members of the EAAE.
