Call for EAAE Council candidates 2026
The EAAE Annual Conference and General Meeting 2026 will take place in Cagliari, and is hosted by the University of Cagliari . The General Meeting (GM) - part 2 - of the Association will be held according to the Statutes (art.17) on Friday 28.08.2026 at 3 pm.
The election of one new council member and re-elections of one council member will be part of the General Meeting.

- Dag Boutsen, council member and treasurer since 2019 (2 terms)
RE-ELECTIONS:
- Claus Peder Pederssen, council member since 2023
Please mind that the council assigns new tasks to each council member after every election.
This procedure also counts for the position of treasurer.
Mia Roth Cerina, EAAE Treasurer, will be the head of the Election Committee.
Votes will be collected by Mentimeter (online voting by phone) or on paper (proxy voting).
The President of the EAAE calls for candidates from all full member schools under the following conditions:
The candidates’ applications must be submitted to the secretary of EAAE (secretariat@eaae.eu) in PDF
format before Monday 06.07.2026. The applications must include:
- a full CV
- a written rationale expressing background and intentions (500 words max) and a personal statement (approx. 300 words) regarding the duties related to each function(art. 24-27 in the Statutes)
- a supporting declaration of the school for his/her/their candidacy, which also confirms the resources for attendance at council meetings (monthly online), conferences, etc.
All full member schools of EAAE, which fulfilled all membership duties (art. 8), may vote directly or indirectly by means of proxy given to another member school before the beginning of the General Meeting (proxy forms will be available via the website of the GM). The maximum number of proxies per school is 4 (art. 21). Please make sure that a signed proxy reaches the EAAE secretariat 48 hours before the General Meeting (scanned and emailed to secretariat@eaae.eu).
