The French Erasmus+ National Agency for Education and Training organizes a European seminar entitled“Challenges and Transitions in Architecture,Erasmus+ for tomorrow’s European architects”« Architecture et Territoires en transition, le programme Erasmus+ en appui pour former l’architecte européen de demain » from 1 June to 4 June 2026 in Paris.
This Erasmus+ seminar (Training and Cooperation Activities - TCA) is addressed to teachers-researchers, administrative staff (heads of studies, heads of international relations, etc.) and students’ representatives. It will enable participants to explore the challenges associated with current issues in architecture education by grasping the added value of European and international cooperation, to cope with the realities of territories, climate changes, and multidisciplinary teaching.
The TCA will bring together 35 European and 25 French participants and will be an opportunity for French Higher Education Institutions of Architecture and Landscape and their European counterparts to meet around common issues and compare their teaching and learning practices. The aim will be to lay the foundations for new collaborations by translating their issues into Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) or cooperation partnerships within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.
The French Erasmus+ National Agency will take care of all transportation and accommodation costs for participants.
The seminar will take place from Monday, 1 June 2026, at 4 p.m. to Thursday, 4 June at 12:30 p.m. Participants are required to be available for the entire duration of the seminar. Check-in at the hotel will be available on Monday, 1 June between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. An optional cultural visit will be proposed on Thursday, 4 June in the afternoon.
A minimum level of B1/B2 proficiency in English will be required as the working language throughout the seminar.
Coverage of expenses:
The costs of meals and accommodation during the seminar will be directly covered by the French Erasmus+ National Agency. Transport expenses will be reimbursed and therefore must be paid in advance by the participant or its sending organization.
Application deadline: by Sunday, 15 March 2026 at 24:00 p.m. (midnight Brussels time).
