EUmies Awards Young Talent 2025, the Winners

The winners of the EUmies Awards Young Talent 2025 were announced on June 19th during the EUmies Awards Day in Venice, as part of the Venice Biennale. The awards recognize exceptional young talent in European architecture. This year's winners are: "Brave New Axis" by Spyridon Loukidis, Markos Georgios Sakellion, and Georgios Thalassinos from the National Technical University of Athens, "Forest & Phoenix" by Carolina von Hammerstein and Vera Kellmann from the Technical University of Berlin, and "Hotel Interim" by Andreas Stanzel from the Bauhaus-Universitaet Weimar.

• Brave New Axis: This project reconfigures Athens' historical urban grid to create new spatial connections, promoting inclusivity and mobility.

  • Andreas Stanzel
• Poolside Politics: This project reclaims an abandoned municipal pool in Marseille as a symbol of civic empowerment and radical municipalism.
  • James Langlois

The jury emphasized that the selected projects reflect a generation of architects attuned to the complexity of contemporary society.
